Injured center Sidney Crosby will practice with the Pittsburgh Penguins when they open training camp on Saturday. Crosby hasn’t played in the NHL since suffering a pair of concussions in January. Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe returned to training and hasn’t ruled out competing at next year’s London Olympics, the Sunday Telegraph reported, citing the athlete’s manager, David Flaskas. While Thorpe, 28, is training hard, he hasn’t formalized his return to competition, including submitting to drug testing, Flaskas told the newspaper.
