Planada resident Heather Marie Pulido is improving her Spanish-speaking skills to better serve those in her community. Pulido, 29, is working on her master’s degree in clinical counseling at Alliant International University in San Francisco. In January, she hopes to do her practicum in Planada, where she eventually wants to set up shop.
